Our little family!

For some reason it is so hard for me to get family pictures of ourselves, nothing ever goes my way! Timing is never right for one of us, having a bad day and so on and so on. I did manage to get a few snap shots of the three of us yesterday afternoon. We were all freezing outside but I really wanted to get these before Christmas and before baby #2 gets here. I am hoping to be able to get more of the three of us later, but these will work for now.

 The one above is for her 4th Christmas ornament. I couldn't find the regular series, so I just bought a 2011 picture frame ornament from Hallmark and will start a new tradition with Alaina and the new baby.

 We love reading our Christmas books, this was The Christmas Tree Story.

 She does not always pose pretty for mommy, it takes a lot to get her to sit still long enough to get a picture like this.

 I realized after I uploaded these pictures that of course I had my eyes opened in this one, my wedding pictures are the same way. :)

She wanted us to pick her up in the air like we do when we are out shopping, but my back was killing me and I could not do it.

Pictures with Santa

So my little girl told us that she was not going to cry this year with Santa, and she did not. She was such a big girl, went up to him and told him what she wanted for Christmas. Her Christmas list for 2011: Bike, helmet and 1 toy. She said that she has been good this year, I think she has had a good and bad days.

My sweet little witch!

I love taking photos of my sweet little girl, even though she doesn't always want to have them taken. But, then there are time that she is such a ham for the camera and gives me everything that I love.
I took some fall photos of her and some of her Halloween costume.

21 weeks!!! Over half way there.

You get what you pay for!

A fellow photographer had posted on facebook about printing at Walmart and other local stores. I know from my experience printing from places like this, you may or may not get a good photo. I have had to get them to reprint several times just to get an ok print from them. So just keep in mind you get what you pay for when it comes to prints.

I am now offering affordable prints, but also offer a cd as well. You can always order prints from your cd, but I would suggest using www.mpix.com for your prints if you are not going to order from your online album.

Emily's Senior Session

Had a chance to do a senior session yesterday afternoon for a very sweet and beautiful young lady. We went to Hurricane Shoals in Maysville, GA and it made the perfect location for this shoot.

Website Under Construction

So like many construction projects my website is taking a while to get it just as I want it. I still have a lot to do and add to it and time is not a friend of mine. Time, where have you gone? Well lets see, two puppies, a toddler and a house that is screaming for a major spring cleaning. Yep that is where all of my times goes b/c after I try to accomplish all of the things it is past bedtime.
So I promise after I get back and finish up some sewing projects, work on some lens characters and of course unpack from our mini vaca, I promise to get this website in order. I will have actual galleries to look through instead of just one gallery of random photos. But, until I can find the time to be super woman you can find more galleries on my facebook page.

Vacation time is rolling around!

So vacation time is rolling around and we are more than excited to be heading out. We are going to be in Hilton Head, SC this time around and this is our first time out that way. I am really looking forward to some beach time with my pumpkin and hubby. Of course my wonderful niece and nephew are coming with us to keep us all company. So I am sure I will get some wonderful photos of all the kids.

I have decided that when we get back I am going to work on some lens characters to help put a smiling face on the little ones. I can't wait to make these and put them to some use. Now is a great time to book family and children sessions.

I will post pictures of the vaca and some of my little characters as soon as I can. I hope that everyone is enjoying this hot southern summer.

New Website

I am currently working on a new website and will be offering prints now as well. The website is a work in progress, as I am not familiar with HTML coding and that is something that I am learning as I go. Mostly I am hoping to find the codes and directions that I need as I go, so as I said it is a slow "work in progress".

With the new website once you have had your session, I will send you Password protected album that you can order professional prints from and have them mailed directly to you. I will still be offering the photo CD as well. I am excited to be able to offer professional lab prints to all of my clients at a price that you can afford.
